Use of our websites

If you use one of our websites we will collect personal data in certain circumstances.

We collect aggregated and anonymised usage statistics including browser details and pages viewed via Google Analytics and Cloudflare.

If you fill out and submit our contact form, or register for an event, we will collect your name and email address.

Usage of our websites is protected by an SSL certificate at all times.

We consider the lawful basis for this processing to be legitimate interests, in order to operate our websites effectively, and provide an easy way to contact us.

We also operate a Facebook page to share information and for you to contact us. Facebook may store additional information in line with their data policy which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Registration for our email newsletter

We send occasional emails containing news, events and relevant information via an email platform like MailChimp.

You will only receive these emails if you have explicitly consented to receive them. You are free to unsubscribe at any time; details of how to do so are included in each email, or you can email newsletter AT christadelphians.uk with your request.

Attendance at a public event

If you attend one of our public events, you may be invited to provide us with your name and contact details.

These details will only be stored with your consent in order to advise you of events or relevant information we believe may be of interest to you.

Your details will be stored in an encrypted environment and kept for as long as you maintain an active interest in our activities. If we haven’t heard from you for a period of two years, we may contact you to see if you wish for us to continue holding your data. If we haven’t heard back from you within thirty days, your personal data will be deleted.
